The international Club of Directors held a meeting in Kazan

The international club of Directors was organized in 1983 by the Institute of Economics and Industrial production of the USSR. It includes more than 100 renowned scientists, managers of engineering industries, energy, defense, consumer goods, Russian and CIS countries. The main objective of the International club of Directors is to exchange views and make practical recommendations for business leaders, entrepreneurs and government officials in the area of effective industrial policy. Since its foundation, the President of the club is Abel Aganbegyan, PhD in Economics, RAS academician, head of the Economic Theory and policy Department in RANEPA.

Meetings of the International Club of Directors are held twice a year in various regions of Russia and the CIS, with the participation of regional leaders and best practices through visits to leading enterprises.

The purpose of the 68th meeting of the International Club of Directors in Kazan was to discuss sustainable socio-economic development, to analyze the current status and prospects of the real sector of the economy and the territories . Leaders of major industry in the Russian regions participated in the event: Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Penza, Tomsk, etc. At the meeting of the International Club of Directors in Kazan the main directions of Russia's social and economic development were being discussed, along with the peculiarities of industrial cooperation and manufacturing engineering in the regions of Russia, personnel support with innovative programmes, global trends in sustainable development, the digital economy and etc.

The Information on the direction and pace of the social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan was of particular interest to the club's members. The report of the Deputy Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin revealed the priority areas of development of the Republic and focused on the development of entrepreneurial structures. The report of the Deputy Minister of the Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Mingaleev was focused on the revealing of the industrial potential of the Republic, real sector of economy development.

June 2, 2017, the International club of Directors visited the AO "SEZ Innopolis", where participants learned about Innopolis facilities and the University of Innopolis.

Participants of the International club of Directors commended the results of the 68 meeting and wished the Higher School of Business to succeed in management training.
