On March 16, 2018 the awarding ceremony of MBA - Management in Healthcare diplomas was held in the Imperial Hall of Kazan (Volga) Federal University
The Rector Ilshat Gafurov noted that medicine today is a priority direction of KFU development, so the implementation of the management in healthcare programme represents a special relevance. The programme Master of Business Administration (MBA) KFU most adequately meets the challenges of reality, prepares successful and effective managers. The peculiarity of the Higher School of Business Kfu programmes is their orientation to requirements of different branches and spheres of activity, "the Rector noted.
The Academic Advisor of the program is academician Abel Aganbegyan, founder and head of the Laboratory of Economics and management in healthcare of the Russian Academy of National Economy and public service under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA, G. Moscow). Abel AGANBEGYAN attended the awarding ceremony and made a speech to the graduates. "I participated in the implementation of such programmes, so I can estimate that the Kazan program is the best. The results of the graduate certification project defense surpassed all expectations. I heartily congratulate you on the high barrier that you have taken. The best medical professionals have gathered in this group. We have prepared decent personnel for the medicine transformation," he said. An analysis of current trends and dynamics of health development in modern Russia, presented by the respected academician, aroused special interest of the participants.
Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Fatikhov, who noted the importance of the program for the health care system, congratulated the graduates.
Adel Vafin, the Advisor of the KFU Rector, 2010 MBA programme Alumni, Honored Doctor of RT, have made a speech where he expressed the gratitude to Abel AGANBEGYAN for supervising the programme. "Today, healthcare is an industry that cannot be developed without investing in human capital, development of corporate culture," pointed Adel VAFIN.
The ceremony was attended by a member of the Final Certification Commitee on MBA-management program in health care, chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RT, Prof., Doctor Shamil Ageev, who assured that MBA is important in Training of managers responsible for the future of their country.
Words of congratulation were heard from the member of the final Attestation Commission, the general Director of the Group of companies "Nyrievy Clinic", honored Doctor of RT, graduate of the MBA program of 2007 Ilyas Nuriyev, who called on graduates to proudly wear an MBA pin, join the alumni community of the MBA program.
HSB Dean, Alsu AKHMETSHINA, elaborated the stages of MBA Management in Healthcare programme implimentation in details. "The programme was launched in 2016 with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.Minnikhanov. MBA Programme -Management in Healthcare, where 22 leaders of medical institutions of RT and medical clinics in Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan were trained.
The peculiarity of the programme is the system of the knowledge received by students in the field of modern healthcare management. Modules of MBA programme as well as specialized disciplines in the field of modern medical institution management were offered in the curriculum: "Reengineering of business processes in healthcare", "Marketing of medical services", "International health systems", "Innovations in healthcare". "Advanced medical services", "Enterpreneurship in healthcare" and others.
Today we award diplomas of Masters of Business Administration for the 18th time already. The programme was launched in 2000. Since then more than 730 leaders from various sectors of economy have graduated from the programme: production, electricity, gas transportation and oil production, agriculture, trade, finance, transportation and communication, construction and etc. And today it is the first intake on the specialized MBA - Management in healthcare Programme.
The best faculty of the leading Russian universities (Russian Academy of National Economy and public service under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA, Moscow), Higher School of Management of Higher School of Economics (HSE, Moscow), St. Petersburg State Economic University take part in realization of MBA programme, as well as leading faculty members and practitioners on the programme specialization from Moscow and other cities of Russia.

Among the graduate qualification projects the following topics were presented: "Concept of strategic development of the University Clinic KFU", "Development strategy of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of KFU", "Organization of the system of palliative care in the Republic of Tatarstan", "Concept of Maternity hospital development", "Gentle Birth" City Clinical Hospital № 16", "The role of implementation of the standards of JCI in ensuring the safety of patients in a multidisciplinary hospital on the example of "Surgeries" in Naberezhnye Chelny", "Improvement of work with personnel in a large medical multidisciplinary organization ","Organization of Polyclinic-as a project of realization of mechanisms of public-private Partnership "," Organization of urgent surgical assistance in Clinic № 7 in Kazan "and others.
