In early October, the autumn launch of the MBA programs started at the Higher School of Business: MBA-24, MBA IT-Management-3, MBA-TagraS. In total, 102 new students started studying at the MBA program. The geography of this year is represented by the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Chuvash Republic, the Samara Region, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Tajikistan.
On October 4, 2019 at the opening of the MBA-24 Program, the Dean of the business school Alsu Akhmetshina announced welcome information about the MBA program, introduced the teaching staff of the program, expressed gratitude for the choice of the Higher School of Business, and encouraged students to effectively spend the next two years of study.
This cohort is presented both by managers of the School’s major corporate partners: OAO Grid Company, OAO Tatenergo, GK Danaflex, and heads of companies in various sectors of the real economy (engineering, construction, chemical production, trade, IT services, financial services, telecommunications, etc.).
On behalf of the Director General of OAO Grid Company Fardiev Ilshat Shaekhovich , Deputy Director General for Information Technologies, graduate of the MBA program of 2018, Timur Rafaelievich Kurbangaliev spoke with welcoming words and warm wishes to students of the MBA program, including 18 managers of OAO Grid Company. He noted the benefits of training on the program, shared the experience of applying the acquired knowledge and MBA tools in his work, and paid special attention to the need for serious preparation of graduation projects that will ensure the implementation of the company's strategy and introduce innovative approaches into its activities.
In response, Alsu Rinatovna thanked the Director of OAO Grid Company Fardiev Ilshat Shaekhovich for many years of fruitful cooperation with the business school, where 170 company managers were trained under the MBA program.
On October 5, at the opening of the MBA in IT Management program, Alsu Rinatovna noted that modern society requires the training of new types of managers who can use information technology as an effective tool for managing business in accordance with the directions of the fourth industrial revolution. This is the main mission of the MBA in IT Management education program. In addition, attention was drawn to the fact that the MBA in IT Management program is one of the branch programs of the school, focused on solving managerial problems of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The MBA in IT Management program is implemented with the invitation of specialists in the field of IT technologies and modern IT management, practice consultants from leading IT companies, business consultants, and teachers from Russian and foreign business schools implementing training programs for IT managers. Among the students of this program are the leaders of the following companies and organizations: OOO TagraS-Holding, AO Ak Bars Holding Company, OOO GKS Research and Production Enterprise, OOO Smoke Group, Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal and others.
On October 10, the MBA-TagraS program was launched. Students of the program are managers of individual divisions of the holding, each of which successfully passed all the stages of selection. This year, the holding sent 27 employees for training.
At the opening of the program, the Director General of TagraS Holding Lenar Limovich Nazipov delivered a welcoming speech. He noted that the holding in modern conditions is undergoing a crucial period of its development, in which the basic conditions for its long-term competitiveness are formed. At the same time, digital transformation, disruptive technologies, innovations today are seriously transforming the traditional foundations of activity and require new approaches to work. The Director wished his employees a successful development of the program, be active, offer innovative solutions, acquire new ones and systematize existing competencies for their further successful application for the benefit of the development of the Holding as a whole and its divisions.
In her speech, the Dean of the Higher School of Business noted that the school is proud of the strong partnership that have developed with TagraS Holding (training in management programs DBA, MBA, MBA IT Management, MBA of Extractive Industries, organization of foreign visiting modules, thematic seminars) and thanked the leaders of the holding for choosing the school site for the professional retraining of the management of the holding companies.
