On June 19, 2019, the Higher School of Business held a ceremony of DBA graduation.

Graduates of the DBA program are the top management of OAO Grid Company headed by General Director Ilshat Fardiyev.

The program was launched in 2015 in cooperation with the Graduate School of Corporate Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (GSCM RANEPA). The DBA program is the only DBA program in Russia accredited by AMBA - Association of MBA'S.

With words of congratulations and parting words, the ceremony was opened by the Scientific Director of the program, RAS academician, Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Policy of RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation, Abel Aganbegyan.

Abel Aganbegyan is the Creator of the DBA program in Russia. The guest of honor told the audience about the features of the program. The DBA program is the highest professional degree in business management, logically following the MBA level in business education. The program is designed to involve businessmen, successful entrepreneurs, top managers who are interested in research, in the process of interactive communication with each other, with the scientific environment, consulting and specialists.

Abel Aganbegyan wished each graduate high achievements in the development of their professional, personal and research qualities, the implementation of the results of protected projects in the practical activities of OAO Grid Company.

The projects were carried out on topical issues devoted to modern transformations in the field of electricity:

  • Consolidation of electric grid assets of territorial grid organizations and individual owners of electric networks operating on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan;
  • Development Strategy of electric grid business on the basis of digital technologies introduction;
  • Corporate culture as a factor of business success;
  • Organization of power facilities innovative construction;
  • The selection and implementation of smart metering in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Alsu Akhmetshina, Dean of the Higher School of Business KFU, and Svetlana Korobeinikova, Director of DBA program of GSCM RANEPA, congratulated students with the graduation and wished them success in their professional activities and active engagement in the HSB KFU Alumni Association.
